Systims 2017: Systems Biology of Adaptive Immunity

The Systims2017 Organizing Committee welcomes you to attend the conference "Systems Biology of Adaptive Immunity" that will be held from May 14 to 17, 2017 at the Conference Centre Monte Verità, Ascona, Switzerland, the venue of choice for Congressi Stefano Franscini, the international conference platform of ETH Zurich.

The understanding of adaptive immunity is of paramount importance for human health and the prevention of disease. A full understanding of its complexity may only be gained by leveraging a multi-scale systems approach that integrates high-throughput and computational methods. This conference will bring together established researchers and young scientists from different facets of the burgeoning field of systems immunology. Topics presented will range from data-driven mathematical modeling of the complex regulation of lymphocytes to the analysis of immune repertoires in health and disease. Furthermore, insight will be given into recent technological developments in immunogenomics and immunoproteomics and their use in building novel computational tools for studying adaptive immunity. Finally, we will highlight the potential to translate systems immunology for clinical applications such as immunodiagnostics and immunotherapy.
